Facilitating Thriving Groups
Some recovery programs do not teach any skills or provide any deep healing. All you need to know is how to lead a group. Thriving is different. Thriving facilitators are different.
The basic difference could not be more clear – if you have not learned the skills you can’t pass them on to others.
As a Thriving facilitator you will need to have the brain skills necessary to help others and truly be "glad to be together" with the participants. Every program that really works is led by leaders with right-hemisphere relational skills but no program aside from THRIVE and Thriving identifies these brain skills and how they are learned.
Few, if any Christian community building programs are created around joy. Many Christians, even pastors, do not know how to perceive the voice of God and about as few have ever received deep healing.
You are about to guide people into this life-transforming experience. You do not need to be particularly good at any of these things but you must be healing, growing and maturing or it will show. Without this key element, thriving just isn't possible. Let the transformation work in you and through you. You can't just teach it, you've got to experience it!
With that being said... we're here to help you !
Here you can find general facilitator information for your Thriving groups as well as Module Specific information using the tabs above.

It's vital that each of you notifies us where your group is meeting! Please don't delay in getting your group on the map. If you have difficulty submitting the form, please email us at materials@lifemodel.org and we will assist you with this process. We will use this information only for the purpose of helping others locate groups. Our map will only list city and state and then any contact information you provide.
So many of the Thriving modules - Restarting, Healing and Loving in particular - depend upon the Immanuel Process as developed by Dr. Karl and Charlotte Lehman and applied to groups by Jim Wilder. Learning the Immanuel Process is necessary for every Thriving facilitator. It is necessary to lead and teach the Immanuel Process in groups and it is even more necessary if you are going to facilitate with honesty and transparency instead of being triggered, hurt, defensive and guarded in Thriving groups.
