Three Different Levels of Licensing for Thriving
Choose a level of licensing that matches your intended use for Thriving materials. Thriving has many applications. If you want to use the materials at home to help your family, run a free recovery group for your community, run a recovery program or center and even train recovery counselors, the Thriving materials are supplied in corresponding packages and licenses. Our materials are designed to fit these different levels of application. The information below will help you decide which is best for you.
Home License
The Home Use License and video are excellent for Restarting students to take home and review the teaching. You may want to explore the option of starting a Restarting group in your area by purchasing a home version and workbook for yourself. The Home Use License and video are not for use with groups and the group activities are not included in the video.
Open Group License

The Restarting Open Group License and video are designed for recovery groups that are offered at no charge for participation. Participants may buy their own workbooks or contribute to their cost as well as the cost of program materials such as the Restarting OGL Program Kit on a free-will basis but are not charged to participate in a program or class.

Uses of the Restarting Open Group License and video must agree to the contract conditions.

Purchase and registration of a Restarting Open Group License entitles you to a 15% discount on all Restarting Workbooks and the bookstore discount on all Home License DVD sets along with other benefits.

 

Purchasers of this Restarting Video Series Open Group License may display these videos to individuals or community groups.  The Open Group License does not permit use of this video where the licensee may profit materially or financially from its use.  Under the Open Group License, organizations and individuals may request donations or have participants share expenses for this license and materials.

Any use of this material in commercial or training venues where admission, enrolment, participation or tuition is charged is prohibited under the Open Group License. Institutional use by both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations requires a separate and current Institutional/Training License from Shepherd’s House Inc.
Institutional Training License
The Institutional/Training (IT) License and video is designed for counselors, programs and training where students, clients and patients participate in paid classes or programs. These programs typically involve enrollment, tuition, fees or admission - whether the participant or a third party pays the costs.

Purchase and registration of a Restarting IT License entitles you to a 15% discount on all Restarting Workbooks and the bookstore discount on all Home License DVD sets along with other benefits.

All materials needed to run Restarting groups and train facilitators are included under the Institutional Training (IT) license. The IT license package includes the full set of all Restarting program exercises, lectures and Immanuel process demonstration videos. Each of the 12 sessions is on its own DVD along with the facilitator training materials that apply to that specific lesson. There are 12 DVDs in the set.

The Restarting IT license is required for anyone who runs a closed participation program. This includes schools and certification programs as well as both for profit and nonprofit service provider programs. Some example include: institutions of higher education that grant degrees, training programs that grant certificates, professional treatment programs, and non-professional treatment programs.

The IT license is a 2-year renewable license. Not only does the IT license entitle you to a 15% discount on all Restarting materials but it also provides you with FREE updates or program improvements during the license period. We are committed to on going program development. We want your input on program implementation and in return provide licensees with any upgraded products. IT users are also given special opportunities to beta test the Thriving modules that are still under development. There is already strong anticipation based on the powerful results the Thriving methods are having during development. 

The theory behind Restarting is stellar, and reports we've received from many Restarting groups are very encouraging. However, since there are no established outcome studies at this time, we are interested in development partnerships with organizations that are willing to do outcome studies and price the license accordingly. FREE or reduced rate use is available for development partners who can provide reliable outcome measures for participants. The benefit for you may include leading the recovery field while we receive outcome verification.

Even if you do not become a development partner, we are providing introductory incentives for those who act quickly. Further discounts are provided though our three-tier pricing policy.
